The legend of Ba Co temple in the Hanh cave
Right in front of the cave gate, on the rocky cliff like a tower, there is a small temple called Ba Co temple (Three Ladies temple).
Ancient legend recounted that there were three girls going to the beach. When it rained heavily, they went to shelter from the rain and found the scenery in the cave so beautiful. They engrossed in sightseeing. By the time the tide rose, the three girls were trapped inside and died at the cave. Then they turned into a water god.
Today, fishers often go to the temple to burn incense and ask the souls of the three girls to bless them.
